Brief Introduction

Hangzhou Minsheng Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. , founded on the basis of Hangzhou Minsheng Pharmaceutical Group Company ( former is Hangzhou Minsheng Pharmaceutical Factory), is a large key enterprise of national pharmaceutical industry. Established on 1926, it is one of the earliest four chemical pharmaceutical factories in China.

Based on APIs and focused on preparations, the Company produces and develops products of high-tech. The turnover is up to RMB 800 million including more than 10 million US dollars of export. It produces more than 40 kinds of APIs and pharmaceutical intermediates, 70 percent of which are exported to USA, EU, Japan and other countries.

Minsheng has strong ability on R&D and has advanced QA system. It has developed kinds of APIs and intermediates for many famed international companies. All APIs conform to the latest edition of BP, USP, EP and JP. All the procedures are strictly according to GMP regulations. Up to now, two APIs are approved by USA FDA, one API has European COS and three APIs obtain GMP Certificate from SDA of China.

For further developing, the Company invested RMB 300 million ( about 36 million US dollars) on a modern chemical pharmaceutical plant with 400,000m2 at Paojiang (60 kilometer from Hangzhou). It will be operated at the end of 2003.
